Best Vanilla Latte I've had in years. Amazing place with people working, sitting, and great music they sell their own coffee and the "defog your glasses" is really nice.

a delightful little cafe on SW corner of Sumach and Shuter streets, with minimalistic yet beautiful interior. espresso bar offers a variety of drinks (lattes, americanos, etc) - there are also breakfast pastries, cookies and sandwiches and some cold bottled drinks. wifi for customers, tall chairs/tables along windows facing north and east, and a couple of regular tables for those wishing to stay a bit longer to enjoy the cosy atmosphere. some super cute handmade merch, and little free treats for your pooch if you step in during your morning or afternoon walk - the place is definitely dog friendly. very popular with the local community, I highly recommend it!

This is my go-to cafe on the weekends for the last 4 years. Consistently, all the staff over the course of the years are so friendly (remembering orders of frequent customers, accommodating different customer needs etc.); it really feels like a third space, with a neighbourhood feel that I really appreciate. The friendly service is accompanied by great coffee. I often see the same customers every weekend as well, which further fosters this environment. Another observation - many of the staff have worked at the location for multiple years, which to me also indicates that this may be a good place to work - another reason to support a local business!
